    Sai + Neil + Engagement - 95 degree heat =

A delicious, almost sweat-free Engagement Session!

Introducing: Sai and Neil. I get to shoot their wedding in August, yippppeeee!

I say "sweat-free" because we began shooting at 6pm and the forcasted temp was said to reach 95 degrees. So we were going to be out at the hottest time of the day. But, by some sort of miracle, there came a breeze and a significant cool down. The day actually became a lot more pleasant.

For their Engagement Session, we criss-crossed the streets of Old Sac (Sacramento). Poor Sai had the daring task of navigating around in her heels over the cobblestone and wooden plank terrain. (Ladies, if you've ever tried clubbing in Old Sac with some cute pumps, you know what I'm talkin' about!)

But despite all that, we came up with some fabulous photos!!

This is one of my favorites....actually, I have a ton of favorites from this session! But this one makes me feel all warm and toasty inside.

    Photo #1

This series gives me the cute and cuddlies.
    Photo #2

Ahh, how intimate! This building has a cool New York vibe.
    Photo #3

We slipped into a nearby hotel for an outfit change...and a few indoor photos. Now those are some spicy pumps!

    Photo #4

    Don't forget the ring!
    Photo #5

We tried out a few dance steps...which worked out pretty gosh darn well.
    Photo #6

This series has a really cute story behind it--It has to do with an unofficial proposal, an engagement party, a Ring Pop, and a dash of imagination. For the complete story, you'll have to ask them yourselves. :) Anyways, we wanted to be sure to capture the Ring Pop moment during the session.

Then it came time to switch out of the sexy pumps to the more comfortable and familiar flip-flops. The session was over...

Congratulations Sai and Neil!! I can't wait for your wedding in August!

**Please vote for your favorite photo of the bunch. Sai and Neil will receive a free 8x10 in the winning photo. Only 15 votes needed! Post your vote by clicking on the "Comments" link below.

    The Red-hot Bombshell

I think there's some kind of conspiracy going on--all the most beautiful woman keep waltzing into our studio. And the Red-hot Bombshell is no exception.

Before the session began, I was asked to please "bring out" the red hair. And my response: Oh what fun!

And oh the fun we had....

A Femme Fatale vibe--You can't beat a tough girl with a chain of pearls...
I think someone's ready to kick some booty.
    Photo #1

This set turned out to be one of my favorite from the whole session. The leopard print accentuates her hair beautifully! Oh yeah, plus this shot is just sizzling hot!

    Photo #2

I love the vintage, grungy look of this photo...

    Photo #3

By the way, doesn't our Red-hot Bombshell remind you of Poppy Montgomery from the "Without a Trace" TV show? Am I right, or am I right??

**Don't forget to vote for your favorite photo! The first photo to receive 15 votes will be gifted to the Red-hot Bombshell as an 8x10 print. Post your votes by clicking on the "Comments" link below this entry.

    Panda vs. Boot

Panda + empty house + open closet door + sturdy dusty work boot =

Poor Panda is scheduled for getting THE OPERATION on July 1st. It will be a bitter-sweet experience. I hope his personality doesn't change dramatically. Honestly, I do love how crazy he is, but I'm not too fond of being humped on...Oh, and I would love some little Panda babies, but I don't think that's gonna happen. So to convince myself to feel better about putting him through the operation, I have to keep in mind that he's more likely to get cancer around those "special" areas, so it's best to have him fixed.

Sorry y'all...I've been absent for a while. I let the heat get to me. :) But, I promise, there's more photos and fun stuff to come!

    Beauty=Bald or is it Bald=Beauty?

I stumbled across this Bald Celebrities website/blog today. I found it both intriguing and hil-ar-ious. The blog features photos entered in a Photoshop contest in which contestants have to digitally alter bald heads onto celebrities. Some of the photos are done very well...almost convincing.

Jennifer Garner--Now this is just wrong!
Angelina Jolie with a little stubble...
Gwen Stefani--For some reason, this almost looks right...
    Sandra Bullock

Her ex-husband's name tattooed on her scalp just puts the cherry on top!
Jim Carey looking like a maniac.
Now, is this what we should expect to see from our beloved Brad Pitt in 10 years?
...Or how about this older and refined look from Tom Cruz?

Can a girl have enough jewelry?.....Nope!

I'm very proud to announce my sister-in-law's recently launched jewelry venture, From the Heart Designs. "Jewelry made from the heart at an affordable price." What's really cool about her jewelry is that it's all hand-made. She can also do custom orders: if you have an outfit you need to match your jewelry with, she can change the colors of the beading to accommodate you. Pricing on custom orders are dependant on the kinds of beads used, the style requested, etc.

From time to time there are specials, so check back often.

Because the merchandise is currently hosted by Etsy, you normally have to be a member to purchase the merchandise directly from the website. But, to bypass all of that, you can email her directly (cinder_wolf@hotmail.com), and she will take your order.

    Here's the website: http://katai.etsy.com/

Me loves the angel wings. They've got a little Rockabilly twang to them. To find out what the heck Rockabilly means, click on the purple "Rockabilly" link above. ;)

These adorable strawberries were created by hand, so no 2 are exactly alike! So cute, I could just kiss them. Mmmuuuahhh!

Leopard spotted beads to satisfy your leopardly obsessions.
