It's Slang on the Daily, Yo!

Help! I am an obsessed Internet shopper! Well, it's actually the easiest way I can shop since I'm always working. Anyways, I was browsing the best shopping mall of all time: Amazon.com, and I ran into this tickle-your-pickle gem:

Now you can wake up each day with a little pep in your step cuz you know that you've conquered urban slang. So you can go ahead and thank me now for hooking you up with the hottest vocabulary.

And me? I'm on that "9 to 9".

Definition of "9 to 9": A way to say "You hustle." Most people work from 9 to5, but you put in more. You have the 9 to 9 hustle.

Trash the Dress at the Preston Castle...and Ghosts!

All I can say is: Wowwee. I had quite an adventure at this shoot and I want to thank Jessie of Jessie Cho Photography for allowing me to be a part of this whole production.

The Breakdown: There were 7 or 8 photographers, a handful of models, hair and makeup artists (Image Provocateur, http://www.imageprov.com/ ), and about 15 or more gorgeous locally designed dresses. We all met at the Preston Castle to shoot the always enticing phenomenon that is beautiful women in dresses standing in grungy, crumbling locations.

If Marlboro sold cigars to brides, their ad campaigns would look something like this:
    Dress Designer: Dreamnette http://www.dreamnette.net/

    Designer: Dreamnette http://www.dreamnette.net/
    Designer: Dreamnette http://www.dreamnette.net/

This dress is so hot-n-fiery orange, that it makes me wanna squint every time I look at it. Quick pass me the sunglasses! The matching bouquet is also a stunning work of art. I feel the whole ensemble is an excellent combination between passionate beauty and grieving Goth.

    Designer: Dreamnette http://www.dreamnette.net/

Dancer's elegance meets booty-shorts and punk.

    Designer: AGAPE by Jeremiahagape_luv77@yahoo.com

I'm sure by now you're wondering what this Preston Castle is all about. Well, here's a little history for ya: The castle is in Ione, and "the land was purchased to house the Preston School of Industry, established by the State Legislature as a progressive action toward rehabilitating, rather than simply imprisoning, juvenile offenders." It closed down in 1960. It is now a California State Historical Landmark.

So now we get to the freaky stuff. Since it housed naughty kids back in the day, the castle is obviously haunted with the spirits of kids that were mistreated by the staff. All of this scary freaky supernatural stuff is caught on tape by the "Ghost Adventures Series" which I so kindly posted below:

PS: I'm so not into scary movies. And I'm such a wimp that I haven't even watched the full clips I posted below. It scares the crap out of me!!!!! Especially since I was actually standing in the very rooms they're filming this supernatural stuff! I'm gettin' the "willies" as I type this!

    Alondra the Beautiful

This blog posting has been waiting forever to be posted (sorry girl). But here she is: The beautiful Alondra with the most perfect eyebrows--and she doesn't even shape them! This girl's got one tight bod--she runs "X" miles a day. ("X" cuz I can't remember, and cuz I can never see myself doing it.)

Alondra's fabulous hair, was styled by her friend:
    Lisa Pierson
    "Pure Beauty Salon" (in Davis)
    Phone # 530 908 4276

Photo #1: "Playful Sweetheart Smiles." A fun pose and a great way to showcase her ring.

Photo #2: "The Dainty Touch." And yes, that's her man there on the table. Don't you love the babydoll dress?! It's very popular. A few gals have brought this particular dress in, and it photographs beautifully on this Victorian Secret Pink Stripe Set! Where to find it: Victoria Secret, baby!

Please note: Lisa was not responsible for the following hairstyles. :)
    Photo #3: "Lady in Waiting."

Photo #4: "Peek-a-B00 Skirt." For some reason, this reminds me of a hot Western scene.

Be sure to vote for your favorite photo so that Alondra can receive her free 8x10 print. The winning photo needs only 15 votes! Post your vote by clicking on the "Comments" link below.

All About Bootys and Why I Hate Summer

Why I hate summer: It's way too hot for me (I'm a November baby)...and all my TV shows end...there's nothing interesting on TV!!

But, I think I found something worthy to watch: Here Come the Newlyweds (on ABC). At first hearing the name, it sounds like another corny reality tv show, but once I started watching it, I couldn't stop laughing. It makes you wanna compare your relationship with the couples on the show...I so wanna grab my boyfriend, become a newlywed, and compete on the show!

Now, here's what really caught my eye in the first place: The Butt Grab Challenge. In this challenge the blindfolded wives had to identify their husbands by booty only. The husbands all awaited their turn in an assembly line of booty grabbing, caressing, and patting, as the wives had to figure out which set of buns belonged to their dear husbands. It was freakin' hilarious!!!

I would love to do this challenge! I would get a chance to squeeze some buns (always fun!), and I would get a chance to see how well I really know that set of buns attached to my boyfriend!
